Those bottles are from a Japanese restaurant and you open them with a marble and it fizzes all over!

I was painting in the summer and when I washed the brushes it looked really pretty in the sink.

And when I DRAINED the sink, there were these streaks of paint left over. It was pretty cool.

Yeah. I edited these on Pic Monkey. Today It was an interesting day. My friend and I practiced bitchfacing in Geo. It was fun. We laughed for like 10 minutes. I was so happy to see that my collage for Malala made it on Rookie! It's #141, in case you were wondering. I really hope she pulls through! She was walking last week, so I guess she's improving! Go Malala!

I am A Vampire and I have lost my Fangs again

Hello people who read my blog. I apologise for my frequent absences. I have been very busy with school and whatnot. It was my birthday ( which I share with AMY POEHLER from Parks and Rec) last Sunday and I went shopping with my mummy dearest and two friends. Then on Wednesday I left for a four day bike trip for grade tens elevens and twelves with my school. We stayed in tents for three chilly nights. We had all kinds of weather. It rained, hailed and even snowed. It was fun though. I think I'll probably go next year as well. Anyways, I am here sitting in my living room with my parents because it is my daddykins birthday today and we are having chicken enchiladas soon. Here are some of the presents I got last week: (sorry some of them are the wrong way, I have no idea why.)

I have really been neglecting this blog, haven't I? Sorry bout that. It's summer! I've been busy. Anyways, I have a lot to tell. First, some outfits.

So. There are my outfits. HEY LOOK AT THIS! IN # 40, there is someone with the same name as me! So cool! The only other Maren I've EVER met was in a Safeway. And pic #1 is of Charlotte and Gwen! So cool, yet again! Anyways, I've been doing some stuuufffff lately, like watching the Olympics! I like Synchronized swimming and Gymnastics because of the makeup and outfits. So I sewed some little flowers on one of my favourite shirts. I've had this shirt since march, I got it when I went to Fargo. I sewed the flowers on last month. I am really lazy and I am comfy in my chair and I didn't want to get up and upload pictures so I used my web cam instead.

DID YOU HEAR??? ROOKIE IS DOING A TOUR THIS SUMMER IN THE STATES! I WANT TO GOOOOOO!!!! The closest place is Chicago, and I think I have exams when they go. :'( Boo hoo. I am crushed. I WANT TO EAT ICE CREAM WITH TAVI AND PETRA AND ANAHEED AND PETRA'S SISTER AND BOYFRIEND. You have to read the article to get that.
BLEEEEEEEEEEEH. I'm going to go and make things and put them on a string to hang on my ceiling and listen to David Bowie to drown my sorrows.

p.s what could I do to make my blog look less boring? thoughts and suggestions would be rather helpful.

Anyways, let's just say that I'm really overtired because I had a math test and a first aid exam today and I have piles of math homework due tomorrow and I have to finish 2 yearbook pages by Friday which is really hard because the website won't upload pictures and when it does it takes 20 minutes. Why am I on yearbook? I really don't know. gahbooeekovertired. I finally got my hair done!!!! :) See:

Hello there! My name is Maren, and this is my  blog. I wanted to start this blog because I was inspired by all the blogs I follow. I would describe my style as vintage, but with a little modern twist. I get most of my clothes at thrift shops, Forever 21, and my mom. I am inspired by magazines like Teen Vogue and Nylon, and my favourite designer is Meadham  Kirchhoff. I started to be interested in fashion when I was introduced to Rookie in October.
