So, obviously, it snowed here. yaaay! I actually really like it when there's snow on the ground and it's gray outside. I think it's kind of pretty, in a way, like pale and sad and dead. Wow, I sound optimistic! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, we have reports at the end of the month, so teachers are all like: QUIZ! TEST! PAPER! TEST! PAPER! TEST! QUIZ! PAPER! I've had a fun few weeks. I also kind of wanted some outfits to build up: (only 2, but that's ok...)

Why hi. Last week I said I would tell you what I was for Halloween. I was a flapper! I wore my great great grandmother's dress that was ACTUALLY from the 20s! I stupidly didn't take a picture, but I'll take one sometime. I watched Moonrise Kingdom on pay per view last week! It was SO GOOD OH MY GOD. I love Suzy she is so cool and I love her record player and cat and style! And Sam's dancing. We mustn't forget about that.

 Hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I know it's a day early, but tomorrow I'm having my friend over and then we're going TRICK OR TREATING! And no, I AM NOT TOO OLD SO DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE. I'm not gonna tell you what I'm being until after Halloween, but you can guess on my POLL located up there somewhere. WINNER WINS ALL MY HARD EARNED HALLOWEEN CANDY! Pretty In Pink

Those bottles are from a Japanese restaurant and you open them with a marble and it fizzes all over!

I was painting in the summer and when I washed the brushes it looked really pretty in the sink.

And when I DRAINED the sink, there were these streaks of paint left over. It was pretty cool.

Yeah. I edited these on Pic Monkey. Today It was an interesting day. My friend and I practiced bitchfacing in Geo. It was fun. We laughed for like 10 minutes. I was so happy to see that my collage for Malala made it on Rookie! It's #141, in case you were wondering. I really hope she pulls through! She was walking last week, so I guess she's improving! Go Malala!

Hi there! So today I have for you an outfit and a DIY that is kind of simple, but that's ok.

And now, for something completely different!

Jar Thing DIY
SO I present to you I DIY on how to make cute little boxy jar things.

 

 



You Will Need:
-Some sort of tub/box thing. I use ones from the Body Shop that are empty and WASHED OUT.
-Glue Gun
-Glue (Mod Podge works best)
-An old paintbrush
-Glitter
-Sequins and whatnot
-Scissors
-Pipe Cleaners (I like the sparkly ones!)

Step 1: Clean out the inside of your containery thing and peel off the label.

Step 2: Add your glitter

Step 3: Spread glitter evenly and in the same direction.

It should look like this. Don't worry if the glitter begins to spread apart and make gaping holes, it looks fine in the end, and you can always cover it with sequins.

Step 4: Add your FANCY EMBELLISHMENTS. This is where you can really GET YOUR CREATIVE THINKING CAPS ON because no matter what you do with gems and sequins, it looks cool.

Step 5: Use your hot glue gun to apply the pipe cleaner.

 

 

Step 6: Once the glitter has dried (About a day), add Mod Podge to ensure that the sequins are stuck on, and it just adds protection for the glitter.

The finished product!

 For one with pictures: (This is basically like a box with a collage on it)

Step 1: Add the pipe cleaner, cover the top with Mod Podge

Step 2: Add your background



Step 3: Add your picture

Step 4: Add your pretty ~EMBELLISHMENTS~ and paint over with a layer of mod podge!

 

 Ones I've Made:

I know the Smiths one looks all smeary, but that's just the light, I SWEAR!

 

 

And then you can put stuff in them like barrettes and earrings and stuff. WOW that took a long time.
